Join the vibrant Padel Community in Singapore
Padel, a dynamic sport invented in Acapulco in 1969 and popularized in Spain, is now gaining global momentum. Projections suggest that the number of padel courts worldwide could reach 84,000 by 2026. In Singapore, the first padel court was introduced in 2014 at the Swiss Club, followed by the development of the MBPS Marina Square Padel court after covid, helping grow the sport in the country.
At Gaulois Sports Club, we are proud to be part of the growing padel community in Singapore. Actively participating in Singapore National Padel league, we regularly play at various padel clubs, including:
- MBPS Marina
- The Cage Padel Tribe Dempsey
- Prime Padel
- Ricochet Laguna & Sentosa
- SingPadel
- PadelCo
- PopPadel
- SkyPark
These collaborations allow us to offer our members a variety of venues to enjoy the sport for fun & competions.

Padel Rules and Equipment
- Players: Doubles is the most common format, but singles can also be played.
- Serves: Serves are always underarm and must be hit below waist level. Balls that hit the walls after bouncing are still in play.
- Balls: Padel balls are similar to tennis balls but slightly smaller and are required in official matches.
- Rackets: Padel rackets are made of composite material, without strings, and feature a perforated hitting surface.
- Court: The padel court is smaller than a tennis court (10×20 meters), with a high net in the middle and surrounded by 4-meter-high glass walls.
