Gaulois Sports Club
About Gaulois Sports Club
Gaulois Sports Club (GSC) was founded in 1991 by a small group of French expatriates living and working in Singapore. Originally a football team, GSC’s first team lineup was famously sent to players via fax! Since then, the club has grown into a cornerstone of the Singapore sports community, competing across multiple leagues and competitions, including 6 Senior Men’s football leagues and cup events.
GSC’s football club remains at the heart of the organization, but today the club is much more than that. It has expanded to include a thriving Women’s Football Club, a dedicated football academy, and diverse sporting sections such as Pétanque, Tennis, Padel, Golf, Beach Volleyball, Fishing, and Combat Sports. Whether it’s competing, training, or socializing, members of all sections come together in Singapore, and the club also regularly participates in international sports tournaments.
As a non-profit association, Gaulois Sports Club fosters a vibrant, inclusive community where individuals from all backgrounds can engage in sport and build connections. With its growing membership base and a variety of sporting activities, GSC remains one of the largest and most iconic sports clubs for expats in Singapore, with a strong focus on football and a passion for promoting an active lifestyle.
Our History

In 1991, a group of French friends living in Singapore decided to create their own football club: Olympique Gaulois.

That little boy of 15 years old, Christophe A, doesn’t know it yet but he will become the President of Olympique Gaulois Singapore in 2012. Is it still the same shirt...?

Christophe M, founder of the Gaulois, went for other adventures. But his heart was always with the Olympique Gaulois and faith brought him back home to run the new Veterans team. The blue became grey but the passion is still very much here!
